Windermere Golf and Country ClubThe Windermere Golf and Country Club was incorporated on July 5, 1957. The first Directors were President Alex Olynyk, G. Edward Trott and W. J. Martenson. They in turn selected Mr. C. E. Robinson to be the golf course architect. Mr. Robinson was quite enthusiastic about the location which the club had chosen for its intended golf course and the first board of directors looked forward with confidence to Windermere becoming one of the premier golf clubs in the Edmonton area. 
This golf course is frequently described as beautiful and well-maintained with a great layout. The clubhouse offers good food and ambiance. Some customers have had negative experiences with a few members, but most enjoy the overall experience. Westridge Wolf Willow Country Club Community League (WWWCCCL) encompasses the area east of 170 Street and South of Whitemud Freeway. The area is known for its picturesque park areas and over 1600 exclusive homes. WWWCCCL has an active community league. The Community Hall is the hub of activity on both weekdays and weekends. Programs include ladies fitness, children’s play groups, sports and much more.
