Fritz, originally from Austria, made annual buying trips to Europe to hunt for & ship back fine antiques to sell in his high-end retail store. While doing so, he also sought out unique rental items for The Prop Room. All this time, Fritz listened and responded very carefully to the rental needs of Toronto-based photographers, stylists, set designers, and movie production studios and, over a 30+ year period, he acquired an amazing collection of over 10, 000 rental items. This dedicated rental inventory was displayed in the basement of Inquisitive Antiques for many years, and The Prop Room built an enviable reputation for having an unbeatable selection of rental stock and first-class customer service. Fritz retired and closed his retail antique store in February 2010, which presented the perfect opportunity for The Prop Room to be re-located into well organized, conveniently positioned showrooms. The entire inventory of The Prop Room is now displayed professionally in a building with far better access for our customers. These showrooms are now established at The Leaside Commercial Centre, 42 Industrial Street in East York. Fritz and his friendly, knowledgeable staff warmly invite you to visit soon to view the huge choice of antique & period prop rental items on display. The Prop Room is a gift shop in East York, known for its vast selection of unique and high-quality props. Fritz and his team offer excellent customer service and are flexible in helping clients find the perfect items for their projects.
