Founded in 1994, Network Plein Air Drummond (RPAD) is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to link and develop resources in recreational tourism products and services. His first mandate given by the Council of Mayors, was to create a regional cycle network in the Drummond RCM. This project gave birth to the Circuit des traditions, formed of several loops that have to focus the main bike path, the Green Route # 4, which is part of National Route verte network. The Circuit des Traditions of 183 kilometers, and can connect the municipalities together.

L’Association de tennis extérieur de Drummondville est un organisme à but non-lucratif qui a été fondé en 1972. M. René Verrier était le président du conseil d’administration. À cette époque, les membres de cette association pouvaient jouer sur les magnifiques terrains de tennis en terre battue du parc Woodyatt et sur les terrains en surface dure du parc Bellevue. Plusieurs sites se sont rajoutés : le parc Olympia, le parc Frigon, le parc Messier et le parc Boisbriand. Avec les années, la restructuration des terrains de tennis ont donné lieu à quelques changements. Elle compte maintenant 19 terrains répartis comme suit : terrains en terre battue, parc Bernier 8 terrains, terrains en surface dure : parc Frigon 3 terrains, parc Bellevue 4 terrains, parc Girouard 4 terrains. La popularité de ce sport toujours en croissance a donné lieu en 1995 à la venue d’un centre de tennis intérieur qui porte le nom de Tennis intérieur René-Verrier. Ce nom a été nommé notamment car René Verrier a été le fondateur de ce projet. Ce centre était également un organisme à but non-lucratif et était géré par un conseil d’administration différent du tennis extérieur. Depuis septembre 2014, l’Association de tennis extérieur et le Tennis Intérieur ont uni leurs efforts pour créer une seule association qui aujourd’hui porte le nom de l’Association de tennis de Drummondville. Cette fusion a but d’avoir une continuité avec le personnel administratif et un point de référence pour les membres.
