Our mission at Pneuma Church is to show people how they can have a relationship with the God. We are created to live in a relationship with God. Without that relationship there will always be a deep sense of aloneness and a lack of ultimate meaning and purpose. There is only one relationship that is completely loving and ongoing – a relationship with God. At the heart of the Christian faith is this relationship with God.

History Richmond Christian Fellowship (RCF) was birthed as a church on June 1, 1980. The first Pastor was Bob McGee, followed by Alan Caple. On June 1, 2012, RCF celebrated 32 years serving Richmond. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring the Gospel Message to you! Initially RCF was a non-denominational church, but after a few years it joined the Foursquare Church of Canada — which we remain a part of until today. Our history is diverse; our journey complex at times. Yet God has been gracious and we are still going strong, still abiding by God’s word and still loving each person that walks through our doors. RCF has always been known as a loving place to be and that is always what we strive to be. No matter where old RCFer’s are, whenever we meet, the bond is as strong as ever. It is amazing to feel that love for each other, even if we haven’t seen each other for many years. A welcoming, Christ-centred community serving ALL with joy, justice and courage.” As part of the United Church of Canada, we belong to a tradition which allows each congregation great freedom in carving its own identity. South Arm United Church is on the more theologically and spiritually progressive wing of the church. In practical terms, that means we take our scriptural tradition seriously, are committed to learning from the best available scholarship on all aspects of our faith and practice, and believe that the earth is a gift that human beings are to care for on behalf of all creation. It also means that we value the questions, the doubts and the puzzlements that shape each of our lives on a daily basis. There is great wisdom is taking our questions/doubts/puzzlements seriously, for in them we experience the companionship of God. Before you come to conclude that we are a terribly serious bunch (is it already too late?) we also have come to believe that it is part of our calling — and an important part of our connection to God, each other and the world — that we learn to laugh and enjoy one another’s company. The doors of our friendship and companionship are open to you. May God's blessings always be a part of your journey.
