British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside of Delta & Surrey Newton, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. We offer: Red Cross Swim Programs . Parent & Tot (8-36 months) (Starfish, Duck, Sea Turtle) Introduce your child to the wonders of water through a fun and interactive lesson experience. Join one of our experience instructors for games, water activities and an introduction to swimming skills. Parent participation in the water is required. Preschool (3-5yrs) (Salamander, Sunfish, Crocodile, Whale) This 7 level program is designed to promote success, focusing on parent involvement and water safety. It has an exciting and attractive format with fun characters and activities geared towards those 3-5 years old. Once your little one turns 6, they will move seamlessly into the Swim Kids program. Red Cross Swim Kids (6-12 yrs) This 10 level program focuses on stroke development, water safety and includes a fitness component. With our program, your kids will be challenged to their individual level and learning style. Adults Our lessons are for beginners and experienced swimmers. We adapt the program to suit all participants.
