Knightswood, the area of Glasgow Scotland where Bill’s father and grandparents lived prior to emmigrating to Canada, was selected as our house name. The name Knightswood came from the area in Scotland where Bill’s father was born. The family emigrated to Canada in 1912; bringing the homestead’s name to Nova Scotia. Spend the early morning listening to the peaceful sounds of a waterfall or watching the koi swim lazily in the pond. This is one of many quiet areas of the garden our visitors can enjoy. Start at the foot bridge and stroll through lush, naturally grown, vegetable and flower gardens - we even grow grapes! At night the grounds are lit for your enjoyment - so make sure to take advantage. There are lots of things perfect for the weary traveller - why not listen to the crickets while enjoying a fire in our outdoor oven or snuggle-up and sip a hot beverage. “To say that we savored our stay at your property is to stress the obvious.
