Owner manager and head vintner Lyle Brodie began making wine over 20 years ago, and took his passions for winemaking to the next level by purchasing The Wine Cottage in 1996 with his wife and partner Pamela. Over the past 16 years we have grown from a one man operation to a staff of 5, to provide you with knowledge and the best wine making experience possible. Over the course of years we have added Oak Barrel Aging using authentic American and French Oak barrels. This optional service will enhance your wine ever further for a nominal fee. Along with making Winexpert products we also make wine from a variety of fruit and grapes. This process takes a little longer than the kit wines but it has proven to be very popular for each year this segment of our business has grown and grown.
