Wagonwheel Ranch was founded in 1972 by Phillip Bertrand and for thirteen years was located on the family farm in St. Charles, Ontario. In 1985 the ranch was moved to Hanmer, Ontario in an effort to expand and offer year-long enjoyment for families of the North. In 1993 Phillip’s son Andre took over the family business and has continued to develop it into a recreational facility. Andre and Kim met in 1995 and married in 2001 and they continue to expand the family business into its 3rd generation with the help of their two boys Wyatt and Evan. We look forward to the future at Wagonwheel Ranch and will continue to provide memorable experiences on horseback. 
Wagonwheel Ranch is a beloved destination for families, offering a fun and interactive experience with friendly staff and well-behaved animals. Visitors appreciate the authentic wagon rides and the opportunity to get close to the animals. The pumpkin patch and sleigh rides during special seasons add to the charm.
