The Daraja Foundation is a Calgary based non-profit with operations in Zanzibar, Tanzania. We focus on improving healthcare, supporting education and building connections. We aim to increase accessibility for volunteers to travel abroad by providing support and resources for travel arrangements, accommodation and placement in a hospital, school and orphanage. We also aim to create opportunities for individuals to volunteer locally or donate and contribute towards health, educational and empowerment initiatives in both Calgary and Zanzibar.
