Sunnyside Natural Market is an intimate neighbourhood market in the heart of Kensington. We specialize in local and organic produce, organic and hormone free meat, organic dairy products, locally produced baked goods, and our newly created in house delicious grab and go salads and dips. History Sunnyside Market was opened in August 1997 by the previous owners Linda Grandinetti and Scott Clements. From the fall of 1991 to the opening of Sunnyside Market Scott had operated The Eco Shop in the same location that Sunnyside Market is found today. The Eco Shop specialized in environmental products such as recycled paper, refillable cleaning products and health care items plus books & magazines. The expansion into local & organic food in 1997 was a conscious choice in line with the belief that food production & distribution can have a significant environmental & social impact on communities both locally and globally. Regular customers Patty Nowlin and Pat Guyn bought the store from Scott and Linda in 2005. They kept the same location and commitment to local, organic and ethical food, and even inherited some of the staff that are still with the store today! 
Sunnyside Market is a local staple known for its wide selection of natural, organic, and local products. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, who go the extra mile to assist with special requests and explain the origin of items. The market offers a range of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and supplements, with reasonable prices that reflect the quality and local sourcing. The organic, vegan, and gluten-free options are popular, and some customers find the market a bit cramped and overpriced, but still worth the visit.
