The Canadian Aboriginal Festival is organized and coordinated by Indian Art-I-Crafts of Ontario, a non-profit Aboriginal organization located in Brantford, ON. In addition to the 15 years of the festival, Indian Art-I-Crafts of Ontario has been active in numerous local, provincial and federal Aboriginal events over the past 20 years. The Executive Director is Catherine Cornelius, a status member of the Oneida of the Thames community, has been with Indian Art-I-Crafts since it's inception eighteen years ago. Ms. Cornelius previously worked with the Chiefs of Ontario, the Canadian Government and owns and operates Oneida of the Thames Marketing. Program Director, Ron Robert, a metis of Mohawk and French descent has also been with the organization since the beginning. He is a former broadcaster, a former assistant to former Prime Minister Trudeau, and a senior government media relations officer.

Located in Glenhyrst Gardens, a beautifully landscaped sixteen-acre park on the banks of the Grand River, Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant offers exciting views both indoors and out. This picturesque property was bequeathed to the City of Brantford by Mr. Edmund Cockshutt in 1957, with his wishes that it be a place for artistic and cultural pursuits. In 1986, the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant was established as a public, nonprofit art gallery. Throughout the year, the Gallery offers contemporary fine art exhibitions; guided tours, classes, lectures, events, an Art Rental Service, School Education Program and rental of the estate facilities. In addition, the Gallery has a Permanent Collection of over 700 artworks. We encourage everyone to become a member today and discover something for everyone at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant. The Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant is highly praised for its beautiful decorations, amazing high tea experiences, and diverse art exhibitions. The historic building's gardens are also a highlight and provide a peaceful atmosphere. The knowledgeable and welcoming staff are noted for their graciousness and obliging nature. The rotating and permanent art exhibitions are highly recommended, as are the nature trails nearby. The light displays during Christmas time are a must-see and get better each year.
