The purpose of the Caribbean Children Foundation, founded in 2000, is to assist children in need from the Caribbean, suffering from life-threatening ailments for which no treatment is available in their country, to receive treatment at Hospitals in and out of Canada, such as, the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto. Absolutely no one is paid a salary or wages. TCCF is managed and run entirely by volunteers. Every penny goes directly to the cause.

Wellspring Chinguacousy opened its doors in April 2008. It is located in a tranquil residential community in northeast Brampton just a 10 minute drive from the Brampton Civic Hospital. This 6, 000 square foot home is fully-accessible, with an elevator and ample parking. Wellspring Chinguacousy offers over 25 different programs and services, in addition to providing meeting space for various local organizations who also support cancer patients and their families. The centre offers child care and transportation to individuals who otherwise would not be able to access its cancer support programs.

At the same time many individuals within Brampton were being overlooked. As a result Brampton’s most vulnerable people were becoming invisible in the eyes of society. They along with others chose to do more. With a deep focus on community outreach, the founders decided to create Grace Place. The impactful organization gave the local community an opportunity to engage and transform the lives of Brampton residents. Grace Place is highly regarded for its inclusive programs and welcoming atmosphere towards people of all ages. The facility offers excellent activities and delicious food, making it a great place for family gatherings and community events. Many praise the kindness and helpfulness of the staff and the sense of security for seniors.
