We are Judy & Don Ellis, owners of Creekside Cats Boarding Hotel, and are both animal lovers. It has been over nine wonderful years since we started this business. Each year has brought new and interesting developments. We’re located on acreage which is bordered on the south by Clayburn Creek, and in 2003 named the property Creekside Acres. We own two horses, two dogs, and two cats and both love living on this peaceful hobby farm in Clayburn Village. Don’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, and riding his quarter horses. Horses have been his life-long passion, and in addition to a full time job, is a farrier with a small number of clients. Don loves riding, practice sorting cattle and entering his cutting show events. Judy is retired now after over 25 years in the medical field which included nursing and laboratory work. Judy enjoys design, playing board games and cards with family & friends, gardening and spending time just playing with the kitty guests that come to stay at Creekside. Puppy Trax is a fun family operated business over the past 20 years, designed to accommodate family pets in a loving atmosphere. The grooming salon is open and airy with a relaxed atmosphere. We are adamant about not using muzzles, nooses or tranquilizers, and you are always welcome to stay and wait while we groom your dog. The kennel is climate controlled with radiant heat and air conditioning, with ample indoor exercise runs. Each run has its own attached individual bedroom. There are 2 secure exercise yards, 3 daycare rooms, with smoke detectors and alarm systems, all on a totally secure 5 acre hobby farm. Puppy Trax is highly recommended by several customers for their pet grooming services. Diane is described as an amazing breeder and owner, always pleasant to deal with, and caring for both her dogs and those brought in for grooming. One customer's elderly lab received a much-needed grooming session that left his coat cleaner and thinner. No issues or negativity were mentioned in any of the reviews.
