The Carpenter's Montessori School is under the direction of Desiree Mayert. Desiree Mayert attended Ambrose University and attained her Bachelor of Arts, then proceeded to attain her A.M.I. diploma from the Foundation of Montessori Training, which is the highest standard of Montessori teaching in the world. Desiree has also completed her diploma in Child Psychology and ECE III. Prior to working in Manitoba, Desiree worked in Toronto as a head Montessori Teacher at Ellesmere Montessori School and Blaisdale Montessori School for seven years. Desiree is also certified in First Aid and CPR with St.John's Ambulance. She also serves as the President on the board of the Manitoba Montessori Association.
