WildNorth International Inc is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WildNorth Fishery which was founded in April of 2017. It was founded before the Manitoba Government enacted legislation that led to the collapse of the monopoly of the marketing and sale of freshwater fish. We were able to build on the relationships we had developed over the decade prior to that to pivot from freshwater fish sales, marketing, and exports to pivot to PPE during this pandemic. We use our existing contacts and infrastructure to streamline our sourcing of PPE equipment direct from the manufacturer and use our existing supply chain to speed up shipments of PPE products to our warehouse in Winnipeg. The relationships that we have developed has allowed us to cut through the nuances of dealing with suppliers ten thousand miles away.
