Historically, Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Parish shared the facilities of the Assiniboia Christian Centre (ACC) with St. Chad's Anglican Parish since the Centre was built for the purpose in 1967 -- through 31 October 2013. During that period, the two parishes co-operated on charitable ventures, raised funds and socialized jointly, used the same Worship Area, and held some joint non-Eucharistic services (such as Remembrance Day and Good Friday services).
