The Wikwemikong Board of Education's vision statement is “to promote lifelong and academic success guided by Anishinabe world views.” Our education system has seen many other successes! Our post-secondary graduates have returned home as doctors, dentists, lawyers, nurses, police officers, ambulance attendants, teachers, soldiers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters and the list goes on. This can be attributed to the partnership between WBE, parents, community and the leadership of WUIR. We also credit our ongoing success to the First Nations Student Success Program (FNSSP) at the elementary level.
