Durham Shorin Ryu Karate teaches Shorin Mastubyashi Ryu karate-do, which was developed in Okinawa, Japan by Shoshin Nagamine. We focus on the art of karate-do emphasizing kata (forms), traditional weapons training (kobudo), self-defense, basics, character development, sparring and physical fitness.
