The Wellesley Apple Butter & Cheese Festival, held every year on the last Saturday in September, is one of the premier autumn festivals in Ontario. This one day event is all about the food, flavours, sights, sounds, entertainment and country charm. In celebration of some of the town's most well-known exports, the Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival was first held in 1975, and has been held annually on the last Saturday in September ever since.
