The UpTown Waterloo Business Improvement Area is a business community with over 470 businesses – approximately 75% of which are independent businesses, and many of whom have been in UpTown Waterloo for years. The prime mandate of the UpTown Waterloo Business Improvement Area (BIA) is to promote and beautify the core area of Waterloo. We are committed to representing our membership by providing support through marketing initiatives, strategic planning, communication, staff and Board of Director interaction and a solid partnership with our municipality. We do all of this in an effort to keep UpTown Waterloo, the heart of our City, a safe, healthy and vibrant core.
