The Sandbar in Wasaga Beach is a popular spot for customers to relax and enjoy a cold beer. The staff is known for their attentiveness, politeness, and courteousness. The rooftop patio offers a great view and drinks are generally good. Some customers have mentioned issues with the availability of draught beer and a limited menu. However, the cocktails are quite popular. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great for evening drinks and dancing. The food, specifically the beef patties, is also highly regarded.

Our motel is a located right at Beach 1. The sandy beach is directly behind our motel! Just park your car, check into your room, and you are less than a five minute walk along the beach from all the restaurants, tourist shopping, entertainment, beachfront activities like Beach Volleyball or Corvette weekend, and from the Nancy Island entrance. Do not forget to bring your beach towels, beach umbrellas, sun screen and picnic boxes. Collingwood is a forty minute drive from the motel, while Midland, Penetanguishene, and even Canada's Wonderland are around one hour drive from the motel. The Scenic Caves in Blue Mountain, as well as the four season resort are less than one hour drive from the motel. Wonderful golf courses of the southern Georgian Bay and the Blue Mountain highlands are also around an hours drive from the motel.
