Most people come to see me because either they or people close to them are suffering in some way. People usually attempt many solutions on their own and in their relationships before seeking counselling. Counselling can help you and/or your loved one's find relief and solutions. I offer counselling to individuals, couples, and families with experience working with children and youth. Some areas of practice I have experience with include couple and family issues, anxiety and depression, addictions, trauma, separation and divorce, family and life transitions, grief and loss, sexuality, and self-injury. My approach to counselling is informed by many theories along side my practice experience in the field for the last 19 years. Regardless of the concern bringing you in, I look to establish a respectful relationship and understand you in your life context. A good working relationship supports our work together and understanding you helps me chose approaches that are a good fit.
