The barbershop was taken over by its current owner, Burt, in 2006. Before that it was James Bay Barber Stylist. It was owned by John Drabik for 23 years. Before that it was owned by "Jerry" for unknown years, but has been in James Bay for 40 plus years. Since Burt has taken over it has been an "institution" in the community by being one of the few businesses that has existed for such a long time. Being only 5 min from downtown, with a decent parking lot, it has been a mainstay for a long time. Burt believes in providing a good haircut at a competitive rate, all while having fun. He has been in the industry for a decade and has seen the trends and adheres to older values. we will be closed on christmas eve, christmas, boxing day and new year's day. Burt S Barber Shop is a highly-rated barbershop in Victoria with experienced barbers who provide excellent haircuts and engaging conversations. Customers appreciate the convenience of online appointments and reasonable prices. Regulars have been visiting for years and recommend the shop.
