Shaughnessy Heights United Church is a congregation of The United Church of Canada, gathering on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings. We are an open and welcoming community, seeking to follow in the way of one called Jesus - stories about whom gift us with wisdom and hope. We are a congregation of The United Church of Canada. We seek to find our way in that denominational path and be open to many other traditions and experiences in Christian life and spirituality. We welcome people to affiliate with us in a formal way through membership, or just come and join with us in a less formal way. We celebrate two sacraments - Baptism and Communion (also known as ‘the Lord’s Supper’ or Eucharist). All are welcome to inquire about Baptism (for infants, children and adults) and all who are seeking to follow in the way of Jesus are welcome to join in the Communion meal of bread and wine. We value excellent music, faith-challenging sermons that connect faith and life and stimulating educational programs for all ages. We welcome you!
