Those who achieve success in that worthwhile pursuit will be those who have, to the best of their ability, lived well, laughed often and loved much, who have gained the respect of children, who leave the world better than they found it, and who never fail to look for the best in others or give the best of themselves. As parents and educators, we must plant the seeds of morality, compassion, faithfulness, kindness and integrity for our children.

The Hastings North Business Improvement Association is a non-profit organization managed by an elected, volunteer board. The association was formed in 2001 as a reincarnation of the Hastings Chamber of Commerce. We serve approximately 625 members within the East Village commercial district. We're proud to support community projects, like this colourful little free library at Eton and Slocan (funded through the Hastings North Community Small Grants program), as a member of the Hastings North Community Partners Group.
