Through the exploration of our diverse Canadian cultural identity we offer innovative public programming in exhibitions, performances, artist talks, publications and special projects. Our mandate is to inspire public dialogue by creating an environment conducive to the emergence of innovative, collaborative, and provocative Canadian contemporary art. History Grunt first opened its doors in September of 1984. A group of eight artists had been meeting throughout that summer in a storefront space on East 6th Avenue in Vancouver to discuss the possibilities and practicalities of opening a gallery. Our direction, from the beginning, was based on the desire to support artists who often worked in isolation and to provide them with the resources to exhibit work that might otherwise go unrecognized. 
Grunt Gallery is highly recommended by its clients for its exceptional staff and teachers. The learning environment is enjoyable and interactive, with a focus on skill development and making friends. The teachers are kind, understanding, and passionate about their work. The gallery features interesting exhibitions and is known for its welcoming management.

Gallery Gachet is a unique artist-run centre located in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Gachet is a collectively-run exhibition and studio space built to empower participants as artists, administrators and curators. The organization’s cultural services have grown from the operation of a small, basement studio in downtown Granville South, offering one exhibition a year in 1993, to coordinating approximately 3, 000 square feet of public-access arts space with up to 12 exhibitions each year, in addition to residencies, workshops, artist talks, symposia, special projects and other events. Gallery Gachet is a cozy museum and art gallery in Vancouver, known for its eclectic community and initiatives to benefit those with mental health issues. The gallery features personal art forms and local talent, with friendly staff and regular events such as talks and openings offering fresh fruit and sushi. The local community celebrates both the collective and external artists. A tour is available by reservation.

About the Gallery Lattimer Gallery has promoted contemporary Northwest Coast Art since 1986 by offering an exciting and diverse collection. It is our continued commitment to encourage and support the emerging and established artists that we represent. Lattimer Gallery was established in 1986 by Leona Lattimer and her husband, David. Having spent much of their adult lives travelling throughout British Columbia, Leona and David made strong personal and professional connections with many Northwest Coast Native artists. Leona and David continued to foster these relationships with the artists once they settled in Vancouver. Peter Lattimer, the grandson of Leona and David, took over the family business in 2001. It has been especially important to Peter that young First Nations artists within British Columbia are represented within the Northwest Coast Art market. Supporting emerging artists is a strong focus of Lattimer Gallery. Lattimer Gallery has the unique, warm atmosphere of a Northwest Longhouse. We offer a fascinating display of gold and silver jewellery, argillite carvings, soapstone sculptures, bentwood boxes, masks, totem poles, and much more. In our "longhouse" we also feature a large selection of original paintings and limited edition prints by many well known Native artists. We want you to be swept away by the selection and quality of art that we house here at Lattimer Gallery. We offer free gift wrapping in the gallery and are happy to extend this service to the web as well. We ship worldwide and accept all major credit cards. Lattimer Gallery is open seven days a week, so we will always be here for you. In addition, we offer formal fine art appraisals on First Nations art, by appointment.
