Prior to studying acupuncture Jessica obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and most recently in 2015 she completed her Sports Medicine Acupuncture certification. With this background, and her strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jessica focuses on treating injuries both sport and work related. Conditions such as tennis elbow, achilles tendonitis, sciatica, shin splints, shoulder tension and rotator cuff injuries, all respond very well to acupuncture. Using a modern approach to an ancient medicine, Jessica combines kinesiology and acupuncture to provide a comprehensive treatment plan including exercises and activity modifications to suit their individual needs. Jessica’s goal is to help her patients achieve their optimal health, giving them the freedom to do the things they enjoy most in life.
