At SWD, we strive to create contemporary spaces that evolve with our clients needs. Studio West Designs is a boutique studio that designs Buildings and provides Interior Design services based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are experienced in building design as well as interior space planning/design of both residential and commercial tenant spaces. Like our name implies, we love creating modern yet timeless spaces that complements our West Coast environment and lifestyle. With our residential design, we strive to provide homes for living everyday to the fullest, homes to grow, entertain, work, and play. Our commercial spaces encourage a sense of comfort, efficiency, and lightness. Principal Designer: Alison Kent, Designer - Buildings, inside + out Alison Kent is the Principal Designer at Studio West which she started in 2003. Over the years, she has completed many projects, built a strong client list, and developed relationships with Contractors, Suppliers and other Designers and Architectural Colleagues. Alison has worked in architecture and design since 1992, and has studied at BCIT Building Technology with an Architectural Major, as well as Emily Carr University of Art & Design and the Royal Architectural Syllabus for Architecture. Prior to heading her own studio, she worked for a variety of Developers and Architectural firms.
