THE BUILDING Gotham is housed in one of Vancouver’s few remaining art deco buildings at 615 Seymour Street. Built in 1933 and designed by architect Max Downing, who also designed other small art deco buildings around British Columbia, the façade of the building features cast concrete art deco ornamentation of stylized flowers across the top. The building was restored in 1996 for Gotham Steakhouse and stands today as a beautiful reminder of Vancouver’s rich history. QUICK FACTS At Gotham Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar, the dress code is smart casual. We make every effort to accommodate the dietary restrictions of any guest.
