Quinte West Community Policing is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with the Quinte West OPP and other agencies. Our objective is to educate and serve the citizens of Quinte West with crime prevention and safety programs. We also act in an advisory role with respect to community input to the Quinte West OPP and the Police Services Board. Volunteer members are required to pass a criminal check screening, pass a review of the membership committee and executive, be sworn in, and act in good faith. The Quinte West OPP has assigned a Community Liaison Officer to our committee as an advisory resource and working partner. ur organization consists of several sub-committees that allow members to focus on their interests and be more effective in serving the community. Some examples of these sub-committees are Crime Watch, Child ID, Bike Rodeos, Fundraising, and Community Events.
