The Fringe of Toronto Festival is a source of enjoyment for attendees, showcasing a variety of performances including drama, comedy, musicals, and improv. One couple particularly enjoyed the comedy musical 'Choir', praising the brilliant writing team and uplifting, hilarious production. Another customer raved about the natural talent and beautiful voice of Barb Johnston in 'Bubble Babz', strongly recommending the show. Some attendees had negative experiences with latecomer policies and lack of empathy from staff.

Toronto Operetta Theatre is Canada's only professional operetta company. TOT was launched with performances of Lehar's THE COUNT OF LUXEMBOURG in 1985 and was incorporated as a not-for-profit performing arts organization in 1989. Over 58 operetta productions have followed, including performances of seldom seen works such as CZARDAS PRINCESS, WIENER BLUT, LA VIE PARISIENNE, THE BEGGAR STUDENT, and LAND OF SMILES.

East Side Players is one of Toronto’s longest-established community theatre groups. Formed in 1967, when East York Players and Leaside Players joined forces, we’ve been engaging audiences for over 40 years. Our twofold mission is to provide a community service: by presenting engaging, affordable theatre in a comfortable space and by offering individuals a chance to develop their interests by taking part in productions. We are a non-profit group, but we maintain a high standard, having won numerous awards for best production, direction, acting and technical achievement. More than 250, 000 theatre-goers have enjoyed our 200 shows which include comedies, dramas, mysteries, thrillers and even original musical revues. We perform at the recently renovated Papermill Theatre at Todmorden Mills in the heart of Toronto, where we have been Resident Theatre Company since 1972.

Voted on toronto.com’s internet poll, Gadabout is an amazing repository for all that is vintage. Gadabout houses an extensive collection of vintage clothing, accessories, and fabrics including household textiles, blankets and rugs. In addition, the store carries ephemera, nostalgia and curios. Our Manly Man Corner is famous for its variety and oddities. Clothing dates from the late 1800s through the 1970s (some 80s available but it’s not vintage yet) and is in impeccable condition. (We don’t carry any t-shirts or denim.) The store is a delight to the eye, a lift for the spirits and lots of fun. Visit often, new arrivals weekly. Gadabout is not a consignment shop. Explore Gadabout. Gadabout, Toronto's vintage store, is a treasure trove filled with unique items and hidden gems. Customers praise the vast selection of antiques and vintage merchandise, the helpful and friendly staff, and the well-organized store. Prices are considered reasonable, considering the rarity and condition of some items. Products range from clothing and shoes to knick-knacks and housewares. Some visitors have found items as old as the 1920s.
