The National Yacht Club has a vibrant racing community. Members sail a wide variety of boats from small dingys to large 40 foot yachts. Within the club there are several classes of boats. Some are ‘one design’ fleets in which the boats are nearly identical. Other fleets such as the PHRF divisions contain boats of different types and use a rating rule to score results fairly. National Yacht Club is highly praised for its delicious food, great team and service, fantastic location with unbeatable views, and welcoming staff. The restaurant experience is a highlight for many, with the chicken sandwich, toffee pudding, and vistas of Toronto skyline being notable mentions.
