Tails & Scales! To understand my business you first need to understand the passion I have for all animals, especially reptiles. Growing up I was always bringing different types of animals home - no matter what it was, if I found it, I brought it home. Then one day when visiting a pet store I saw the reptiles, and something in me just clicked. Since that day 15 years ago, I began breeding these interesting creatures. I found it to be an exciting and challenging process to ensure that they were kept healthy and strong and this passion is something that I will continue to bring into my new business venture. As my breeding and trading services became more well known to the reptile hobbyist community, I was getting phone calls at all hours of the day from people with questions about their own animals. This, combined with my dream of owning my own business and the fact that my collection was quickly out growing my home, I couldn’t think of any reason why I shouldn’t open up my own store. Tails & Scales offers the best of both worlds for everyone; I am still able to provide answers to everyone’s questions while supplying them with a full-service shop plus I get the pet store that I have always wanted and my wife gets her basement back! Throughout my 15 years experience, I have always and will continue to guarantee that all of my animals are healthy and genetically strong while ensuring that none of them have been taken out of their natural habitat.
