Hi, nice to meet you! My name’s Rebecca, owner and founder of Bark Buddies Toronto. Like many people who grow up in a small town, I lived my life surrounded by pets – lots of them. They always brought a certain specialness to life, one that I didn’t fully appreciate until I moved out on my own to attend university in Toronto. Every time I would visit home, I would be reminded of how much I miss them and be so sad to leave and return to my studies. Fast forward to the present and I’ve certainly learned a lot since then; first and foremost, that I cannot live without my animals. I now have a Chihuahua named Mochi and a Maine Coon named Smokie. The second is that while I love city life, I recognize that it can be B U S Y. And while the 9 to 5 grind ended up not being for me, I did gain a thorough understanding of how hectic it can be, but also, just how far a little bit of help in your day can go — and hence why I’m so excited that you’re reading about Bark Buddies today! I feel very fortunate to be in a position where I can help others who are in the same situation that I was once upon a time. Now I get to meet lots of amazing people, great dogs, and work for myself each day which is a dream come true. As a small business owner and entrepreneur, every client counts. I strive to attain 100% customer satisfaction because I personally believe that my brand is my name. Bark Buddies Toronto is a place that will always put your dogs needs first.
