Its top down, a type of systems theory or methodology that sacrifices personal differences for the overall system. Shihan Oki's traditional graded programs, like the children's and adult curricula, combine striking (Karate), grappling (Ju-Jutsu) and throwing (Judo) in a highly effective and practical approach, all the while maintaining the highest in safety standards. As well, his innovative modern programs, from Women's Kickboxing and Self Defense to Man's Stand-up and Grappling, all utilize, among other things, music in an informal environment, which adds to the teaching matrix by helping members cultivate time, rhythm, and pace.
