My father arrived in this country in 1964 with nothing, but hope for a better life for his wife and 5 children who arrived in 1965. My dad worked day and night to support his family and in 1969 he purchased a building along with the hardware store business in the St. Clair and Oakwood area. We all worked together in the family business and we lived in the 2 bedroom flat above the store. After 40 years, I have come full circle purchasing the building and moving into the flat above the store with my wife and daughter, who also assist me with the hardware business.
