Shadowland artists are available for: workshops in mask and puppet making, stilt-walking, lantern-making; design for theatre, puppets, and costumes; creation of spectacles, events, parades and pageants. Shadowland Theatre works with a wide range of communities to unearth their distinctive histories, creating new stories and celebrating special events. These collaborations can take place over a number of weeks or years culminating in large community shows leaving a legacy of skills and inspirations. Shadowland artists run workshops and do extended residencies to train community members in art forms that they can then make their own. Shadowland is known for animating streets, parks and communities with its bold design sensibility and raucous theatricality. Original performances incorporate masks, puppetry and spectacle arts, mostly in outdoor and non-traditional theatre spaces in urban and rural landscapes.
