Barbara Starr, owner of Terra Cotta Clothing Design, is an award winning designer, production supervisor, product developer and mentor to emerging fashion designers; who has been involved in the clothing industry since her teenage years. A graduate of University of California - Los Angeles, Barbara opened Terra Cotta Clothing in L. in 1985. Following a relocation to Toronto Canada in 1990, she opened up Terra Cotta Clothing as a production studio with a retail store near Yonge St. and Eglington Ave. After an extended period in the trendy Queen West neighborhood, Barbara and Terra Cotta Clothing now calls the up and coming Junction Triangle neighborhood home. Barbara continues to be the product developer for labels such as MIIK Inc. (www.ca), Cabaret Vintage Bridal (www. CabaretVintage.com) and 49th Apparel (www.49thapparel.
