BMV began in 1997 at its present Edward St. location, next-door to the World’s Biggest Bookstore. The philosophy behind BMV has always been to sell good books at low prices. It’s easy to find quality books that are expensive and marginal books that are cheap. The BMV challenge has always been to find unusual and interesting books of high quality and to sell them at very reasonable prices. In 1999 BMV opened its Yonge and Eglinton location, which is still thriving today. At 15, 000 sq., the store at 471 Bloor St. is Canada’s largest bookstore for pre-loved and discounted books. It boasts four floors of Books, DVDs, Comics, CDs, Records, and Magazines. There are more then a thousand different items being shelved everyday, which makes every visit a unique experience. Our continuing mission is to search out unique finds wherever we can to bring you the finest books at affordable prices.
