Regis College is the theological school of the Society of Jesus in Canada, affiliated with the University of Toronto through the ecumenical Toronto School of Theology. It offers post-baccalaureate civil and ecclesial degrees within the Roman Catholic tradition. The spirituality of Saint Ignatius of Loyola animates our enterprise as Regis College prepares men and women for ordained and lay service in pastoral ministry, teaching and scholarship. True to this Ignatian heritage, the Regis College community finds God in all things by reflecting on our experience of the Triune God in the world.

The Toronto Zine Library is run by a collective of zine readers, zine makers and librarians who are looking to make zines more accessible in Toronto. We believe that zines are still an important medium of communication, and that they should be cherished, protected, and promoted. Our aim to do this through our public collection of zines, conducting related workshops at our physical library and abroad, and by holding events that promote zines as a method of open communication and free expression.

Bakka first opened its doors in 1972. The name, Bakka, was taken from Frank Herbert’s Dune, and means ‘the weeper who mourns for all mankind’. In the nearly 40 years since, the store has changed owners, locations, and even its name (slightly). But what hasn’t changed is our knowlege of, committment to, and sheer darned enjoyment of science fiction and fantasy. We host tons of author appearences, readings, panels, and offsite events of all kinds. We’re Canada’s oldest SF& F bookstore, and we’re proud to be part of the greater community.
