The Lock 7 Viewing Centre is a popular destination for visitors to see the intricate process of ships passing through locks. The size of the ships is impressive, and the experience is often described as amazing and spectacular. The locks system is complex and ships are raised or lowered up to 40 feet. Visitors suggest checking the ship schedule before visiting and be aware of limited parking. Despite the occasional lack of knowledgeable staff, the friendly and informative visitors centre staff make for a memorable experience. The view from the lookout is a highlight, offering a spectacular vantage point to observe the ships.
