We take a positive, respectful and friendly approach in assisting our students on every step of their journey to ensure that they maximize their training and learning outcomes. Instructor to Student Ratio (1:10 or less) To ensure the quality of teaching and to maximize the learning experience of our students, Wu-Yi Taekwondo puts an upper limit of 10 students per instructor ratio in each of the group lesson so that every student will be given sufficient amount of attention from the instructor for maximum support. Safety as a Priority Any physical activity with contact is likely to result in some bumps and bruises; however, there has never been a serious injury in our schools and we put in 110% of effort to ensure that our students are safe. Our classes always start with a warm-up and stretch to avoid injury. Students will never be asked to do something for which they are not prepared. For instance, beginners will never be asked to participate in free sparring until they’ve gained enough confidence and proficiency in their sparring techniques through progressive training and advancement. Free sparring is always done under strict control and supervision. Protective gear is always used whenever needed. Classes are grouped by age and skill.
