The SCB provides low-income families in the City of Surrey with the experience of a joyful Christmas celebration, through the Christmas Hamper and Adopt-A-Family programs. The Surrey Christmas Bureau (SCB) is the largest and busiest Christmas Bureau in British Columbia, serving over 1, 900 Surrey families and 5, 000 children in 2009. For over 40 years, the SCB has been helping low-income families, and children under the age of 15, celebrate Christmas through Christmas Hamper and Adopt-A-Family programs.
