We have been open for 6 seasons now and have worked with and met a lot of great people. Rene is a graduate of the Stratford Chef School and has worked in many restaurants in Stratford before opening Rene’s Bistro. We strive on fresh local and sustainable food. We make everything in house from breads to entrees dressing’s desserts. Margaret, Rene’s fiancé is a graduate of Conestoga College, winner of Stratfords Helen Kirkpatrick Customer service award in 2006. She works the front of house. With each year we continue to update the bistro and are hoping for a Fabulous 2015 season. 
Rene's Bistro French and Italian Cuisine receives rave reviews for delicious food, friendly service, and family-friendly atmosphere. Notable dishes include veggie paninis, meatball sandwiches, pasta dishes, and tiramisu. Fair prices and generous portions add to the dining experience. Some customers particularly enjoy the arancini. Parking is available on the street.
