A&T Concrete are the concrete experts. The owner, Tim White, has been doing concrete work for 32 years. Tim got his start in the concrete business working in the Kitchener-Waterloo area for Canadian Construction Control LTD. He helped on projects such as underground parking and bridge repair, apartment building repointing, and concrete damage assessment, which included building a plan to repair damaged concrete. Tim then went on to work with a foundation crew in Kitchener doing floor finishing and form work, while also doing residential basements and floors. With nearly 10 years’ experience under his belt, Tim moved to the west coast, to the province of British Columbia, and started his own business, and A&T Concrete was born. He worked on several large projects in the area. He worked with a company called Action Construction on a 360, 000 square foot superstore in Kamloops, BC. A&T Concrete helped Billco Construction in pouring the bridge deck of the Tumbleweed Bridge that crosses the Trans Canada Highway. They were also instrumental in pouring the deck for CN Train Bridge for York Construction. Tim and his company also worked on several large Hotels in British Columbia including the Sheridan, Delta, and Radisson, pouring concrete floors and walls. Tim also worked on the Chateau Lake Louise in Whistler, BC. His years spent in British Columbia vastly improved his skills doing decorative concrete and acid staining. In 2002, Tim would return to Ontario and settle in the Quinte Area moving to Marmora, ON. He continued to operate under A&T Concrete and immediately starting working with Spada Tile pouring concrete at Queens University in the underground parking garage. He worked on several other big jobs in Kingston, ON including; Tindall Park, Royal George on the harbour, and a 17 story apartment building. A&T Concrete also collaborated with Gaffney Construction pouring bridge decks in the Kingston area.
