Since 2006, Island Radio has broadcasted at 92.1 FM from our milkhouse studios located in Stella, Ontario on Amherst Island. Our 250 watt transmitter serves Amherst Island and the bordering Canadian mainland, roughly from Picton to Napanee to the western edge of Kingston (including Bath, Odessa and Amherstview). On the Internet we can be heard worldwide . We take pride in our all-volunteer staff and our community partners. You won’t find mainstream broadcasting here. What you will find, however, is an eclectic collection of shows and music, with many live shows and lots of Canadian-based and local content. We love to promote local special events, organizations or community groups, simply contact us with the details and we’ll spread the word at no charge. Are you a local musician?
