Hummingbird Montessori School (HMS) opened in 2009 with 5 students, and has grown into a registered private school with casa and elementary classes serving 30 students from pre-K to grade 7 this school year, with expansion to grade 8 in 2017-18. 2016-17 marks the beginning of our eighth year of operation. Our school is the result of many years of hard work by two sisters, Sherri Jackson & Megan McQueen. Hummingbird Montessori School is located in Brethren in Christ Church, 1152 Concession 6 North, between Duntroon and Stayner. Our facility is about 10 minutes north of Creemore, and about 10 minutes south of Collingwood, 2km south of the Collingwood Airport on the 6th line.
