DRIVER ENTERPRISES LTD. started in 1985 in Regina, Saskatchewan. While employed by Dominion Bridge from 1979 to 1985, I received Inter-Provincial Journeyman status in 1984. After Dominion Bridge closed down in 1985, I had steady contracts with such companies as Ipsco steel mill, PCL Construction and various small contracts around the Regina area. In 1999, I started Driver Enterprises Ltd. and commenced seeking my own contracts and certified the company, as well as Esquimalt Dry Dock Company at the graving dock. I obtained Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) welding supervisor's certification and managed some major refit welding projects for Esquimalt Drydock Company.
