Vanderwell Heritage Place is a senior's housing facility located in beautiful Slave Lake, Alberta, the "Jewel of the North." Our lodge offers many different senior living options, each with a different lifestyle and level of care. The Vanderwell Heritage Place currently operates 40 lodge style suites, 29 self-contained apartments, and 8 designated assisted living units. Our lodge offers newly renovated comfort in a friendly, supportive and comfortable atmosphere. Our facility was originally built in 1996 and underwent renovations when a large scale expansion was added. Our expansion started in the fall of 2009 and our Grand Opening took place in September 20th, 2011. Our facility now offers many more amenities that allow for a more independent lifestyle.
