Hyacinth is a Registered Acupuncturist in the Province of Alberta. She graduated from the Grant MacEwan University Acupuncture program. She also completed an Internship at the Third Affiliated Hospital, Henan University of Chinese Medicine in Zhengzhou, China. Hyacinth believes in treating the whole person, looking into her patients’ diet and lifestyle as part of the healing process. She treats a variety of conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress, sleep problems, allergies, asthma, digestive issues, PMS, dysmenorrhea, fertility concerns, menopause symptoms, muscle and joint pains, and other health concerns. Besides acupuncture and Chinese herbs, she also uses other Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) modalities such as cupping, Tui Na, Gua Sha, electro stimulation, and moxibustion therapy. As a life-long learner, she is committed to expanding her knowledge to give patients better care. She has taken a number of continuing education courses including Cosmetic Acupuncture.
